Summer workshops

A series of free workshops, listed below, will be open to the public during the summer holidays. Unless otherwise stated, these are drop-in sessions with no need to book in advance.

31st July: Art workshop with artist Natalie Jones (drop in session)

14th August: War Wounds workshop with professional make-up artist Julia Hyland (11.30am-3pm)

21st August: Genealogy workshop with Laura Berry, principal genealogist for BBC1’s ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ 11.00am-4.00pm. Please book your free 40 minute timeslot by e-mailing: jenny.wilkes@bbc.co.uk

28th August: First World War Memorabilia workshop with Bargain Hunt auctioneer Charles Hanson. 11.00am-4.00pm. Bring along your memorabilia for a free valuation.

All workshops will be held in BBC Birmingham’s Public Space in the Mailbox.
